About Jimmy Vreeland

Jimmy graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, spent 5 years as an Army Ranger, and deployed three times twice to  Iraq and once to Afghanistan. On his last deployment, he read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki which led him down the path of real estate investing.

First thing the Rich Dad said to do was to get a job in sales. After Jimmy was honorably discharged from the Army, he got a job in corporate medical sales. During his 8 years in a corporate job he was still following the advice from the book and buying rental properties.Eventually he had a big enough portfolio that we has able to strike out on his own and start his own business in the real estate industry.
Originally Jimmy thought he would just be flipping houses and owning rentals for himself but things quickly snowballed. He had 100+ houses himself so he started a property management company. Once he had a PM company, investors started asking him to find rent ready properties for them. And then since demand was so high and inventory was so low on the MLS, Jimmy started a direct to seller home buying company (IBUYSTL) which now supplies most if the inventory to the investors that work his team.
Since 2018 his team at Vreeland Capital has supplied over 100 houses a year to investors who want to work his team and his team is now managing over 800 houses.
